Information Technology has become a vital and essential aspect of the personal as well as professional lives in today’s scenario. The centre of Computer Application was added under the umbrella of TDCC in 2007 and was initially involved in training novice computer users. The centre has developed programmes specifically designed for students who are looking to further develop their computer skills apart from their course curriculum. The centre for Computer Application further expanded its reach and is also involved in providing Computer Application Services and offering short term certification courses.

Computer Application Services
With the turn of century, every organization needs new technologies which accelerate the human efforts. Identifying this need of the organizations TDCC’s Centre of Computer Applications initiated the function of providing Computer Application Services like Software Development, ERP Development and Web Designing. The centre has developed its resources to cater to the requirements of corporate world and looks forward to excelling in the field by providing the best of services to its clients.

Student and Faculty Development (Computing Skills Development)
Over the last decade there have been many changes made within the Education System and the focus has been on developing the computing and IT skills. The centre of computer applications right since its inception has focused on the development of these skills in students and faculty. The centre has developed and mapped programmes to match with the requirement of the courses and the corporate world, which equips the student with the requisite skills. The centre also conducts workshops for faculty, to update with the latest trends in technology and IT skills.

Short - Term Certification Courses (Proposed)
Today’s era of changing environment, global management and human relationship have underlined the need to have advance learning. These short term courses provide the learners with understanding of basic skills and an opportunity to update their knowledge along with the practical exposure in the industry, as all these certification courses will be Industry - Integrated.
